Privacy Policy — SafeCity Alert Balkan

SafeCity Alert Balkan (the "app") respects the privacy of its users. This policy explains what data the app uses and how.

1. Location

The app uses the device's GPS location strictly locally, on the device itself, in order to:

• compare your position against the offline traffic-camera database and generate real-time alerts,
• detect the city you're in on first launch (to activate your free home city).

Your GPS coordinates are never sent to our servers or any third party — this processing happens entirely on your device.

2. Data stored on our server

To enable unlocking content (per-country purchase / Balkan bundle) and to preserve/restore it across multiple devices, we send to our server:

• a randomly generated installation identifier (not linked to your name, phone number, or Google account),
• the app's package name,
• purchase data (product identifier, a hash of the purchase receipt) — to verify and sync unlocked content,
• a hash of an optional "recovery code" if you create one to transfer purchases to another device.

We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal identifier.

3. In-app purchases

Purchases are processed exclusively through Google Play Billing. Google Play handles payment data (card numbers, etc.) — the app and its server never see or store any payment card details.

4. Sharing data with third parties

We do not sell or share user data with third parties for marketing purposes. Data is used solely to operate the app (camera alerts, purchase management).

5. Ads and analytics

The app displays no ads and uses no third-party tracking or analytics tools.

6. Data deletion

To request deletion of data associated with your installation (the installation identifier and purchase history on our server), please contact us through the link below.

7. Changes to this policy

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The date of the latest revision is always shown at the top of the page.
